6-day Queen Elizabeth and Murchison Falls safari
Uganda's two best known savannah parks in one trip, with a Nile cruise to the falls and a channel cruise in Queen Elizabeth.
Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1
Meet your guide at Entebbe airport and drive north to Murchison Falls National Park. Check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2
Take a morning game drive in the northern part of the park for elephants, buffaloes, giraffes and lions. After lunch, join the two-hour launch cruise to the base of the falls, passing hippos, crocodiles and water birds.
Day 3
Drive south via Kampala and Masaka, stopping at the equator and in Mbarara for lunch, and reach Queen Elizabeth National Park in the evening.
Day 4
Go on a morning game drive, then take the afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel.
Day 5
Spend the day in the quiet southern sector, looking for the tree-climbing lions and other wildlife.
Day 6
Drive back to Kampala or Entebbe after breakfast.
