This 4-day journey takes you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in southwestern Uganda, a biodiversity hotspot home to more than 120 mammal species, over 500 plant species, and around 350 bird species, including 23 endemics. The park is also renowned for sheltering over 200 mountain gorillas, offering an exceptional gorilla trekking experience at its finest.
Beyond gorilla tracking, the adventure includes opportunities for bird watching, guided nature walks, and meaningful cultural encounters with the indigenous Batwa and Bakiga communities, giving you a deeper insight into the region’s rich natural and cultural heritage.

Detailed Itinerary: 4 Days Bwindi Gorilla Tour
Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Bwindi National Park
Depending on your arrival time at Entebbe International airport, you will meet up with our experienced driver guide from Gorilla Safrais Chimpanzee . You will be welcomed and transferred to the hotel in Entebbe with a precise briefing about the tour. Check in and relax as you prepare for a visit to Entebbe Botanical gardens in the evening. Expect to see different bird species hovering around and refreshments from the cool breezes of the gigantic Lake Victoria. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight rest.

Day 2: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable national park.

Day 3: Gorilla trekking and Batwa cultural encounter.
After morning breakfast, our driver guide will transfer you from the hotel to the park headquarters with packed lunch where you will be registered and divided into groups of 8 and later assigned a gorilla family to trek. Proceed to the forest and commence the trekking of the gorillas giving you the ultimate experience of the gorillas alongside colorful birds and butterflies. Having found a gorilla, you are allowed to stay with it for 1 hour as you watch it play and take memorable pictures. After lunch, you will have a visit to the local communities of Batwa and watch them portray their lifestyles through singing, crafts and dancing. In the evening, return to the lodge, relax, have dinner and retire for a night.
Day 4: Forest walk and transfer to Entebbe.
On your last day of the trip, you will wake up early and prepare for a forest walk commencing from Rushaga gate through the forest as you explore its surroundings with different birds to see and soothing sounds to hear for 2 – 3 hours. Return to the lodge for breakfast as you prepare for a transfer back to Entebbe International airport to catch up with your flight if it is on the same day.
