5-day Rwanda gorillas and Bisoke hike
The Virunga volcanoes in depth. You trek gorillas and golden monkeys, visit a cultural village and climb Mount Bisoke.
Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1
Meet your guide in Kigali for a drive past the Genocide Memorial and local markets, then continue to Volcanoes National Park for the night.
Day 2
Trek to a gorilla family and spend one hour with them.
Day 3
Track golden monkeys in the morning, then visit Iby'lwacu village for local food and dance.
Day 4
Climb Mount Bisoke to the crater lake. It takes most of the day and needs good fitness.
Day 5
Drive to Kigali for your flight or hotel.
