3-day Nyungwe chimpanzee and canopy walk
A short trip into Rwanda's largest forest for chimpanzees, a waterfall trail and the walkway above the canopy.
Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1
Your guide meets you in Kigali and drives you south, six to seven hours with stops, to Nyungwe Forest National Park.
Day 2
After the briefing at the park headquarters, track chimpanzees for three to five hours and spend one hour with them. In the afternoon, take the Isumo waterfall trail.
Day 3
Walk the canopy walkway in the morning, then drive back to Kigali with a lunch stop at Lake Kivu.
